BioSalone is promoting the use of biotechnology as a tool for national Development through Biotechnology education, bio- business development and advocating for the adoption of standards and policies.

BioSalone’s Mission:

• To stimulate national development using biotechnologies by developing biotechnology education, business, and research in Sierra Leone.

• To develop sub-regional linkages for bio-resources and biodiversity conservation.

• To support development of ethical guidelines, policy, and standards for bio-resource conservation and exploitation

• To promote international investment in Sierra Leone

To develop a foundation projects at chiefdom level to introduce biotechnology as a tool for development
