History
CADEM is a non-profit grassroots advocacy and development
movement founded in October 2001 to empower local communities
impacted by Rutile and Bauxite mining to challenge the
socio-economic environmental impacts of mining through
constructive dialogue, policy advocacy and litigation.
Mission Statement:
CADEM devoted to the protection of human ecosystem in terms of
environmentally responsible governmental, corporate, community
and individual practices in Sierra Leone
